Prof Deepak Kumar Behera, an eminent anthropologist and a brilliant author, has joined the KISS University here as the Vice-Chancellor.
Earlier, he served as the VC of Sambalpur University, Berhampur University and the first Vice-Chancellor of Rajendra University, Balangir. He was a Fulbright Visiting Professor at the California State University.
Congratulating Prof Behera on his joining at the KISS, KIIT & KISS founer Dr Achyuta Samanta said, "KISS is a unique creation of the Almighty.
It is the one and only university for tribal children across the globe where as many as 30,000 children are pursuing their studies with the provision of food, accommodation and all other basic amenities absolutely free".
