Jharkhand Pradesh Congress Committee (JPCC) is prepared to hold a tractor rally on Sunday from Kargil Chowk in Godda to Sahid Sthal in Deoghar. The party is holding the rally against the three farm acts brought by the Central Government.
JPCC Chief Rameshwar Oraon, legislative party leader Alamgir Alam, Agriculture Minister Badal and Health Minister, Banna Gupta along with the party MLAs and senior leaders will participate in the rally. Oraon reached Godda by road on Saturday evening to participate in the rally, the convener of this rally is MLA Pradeep Yadav and under his leadership all necessary preparations have been completed to make the rally a success. Yadav said that it is expected that thousands of farmers will take part in the tractor rally.
The rally will start from Kargil Chowk in Godda to the Sahid Sthal in Rohini of Deoghar. Agriculture Minister Badal also visited many districts to make this rally successful and he appealed to people to participate in large numbers in this rally. He informed that the Center's attention will be drawn through the rally in a peaceful and democratic manner. There will also be a demand to withdraw these laws in the interest of the country, he added.
"The echo of this rally will be heard from the land of Sido Kanhu and will be heard by the Central Government in New Delhi. Further, such rallies will be held in all the five divisions of the State for which the date has not been set yet," said Badal.
JPCC Spokesperson Alok Dubey and Lal Kishorenath Shahdeo informed that in the Gandhian way, a strong voice in support of the farmers will be sent to the ears of the Central Government otherwise the coming generations will never forgive us.
“It is not in the interest of the Country to run such a long movement of farmers. To participate in the rally other leaders from the coalition parties of the State Government have been invited," said Dubey.
