ECR GM launches signature campaign for Rajbhasha
General Manager, East Central Railway, Anupam Sharma, started a signature campaign organised by the Department of Official Language on Wednesday at ECR Headquarters, Hajipur for the purpose of spreading the use of Official Language. Participating in this signature campaign the officers/employees of the Headquarters including the General Manager reiterated their commitment to do maximum works in Hindi. It is to be known that in ECR, many types of works are being done to speed up the use of Hindi, the official language. Recently Rajbhasha Pakhwada-2021 was organized under which various types of programmes were organised. In this Hindi essay competition, Hindi noting-writing competition, Hindi speech competitions were prominent. Apart from this, the speakers discussed the present status of Hindi in the seminar.
Special Union MSME First Branch in Jamshedpur
A special branch of Union Bank of India has been inaugurated in Jamshedpur city under Ranchi Region which has been named as Union MSME First Branch. The branch was inaugurated virtually by the Executive Director of the Central Office, in which Binod Kumar Patnaik, Area General Manager Ranchi, Anand Kumar, Deputy General Manager, Area Head Ranchi, Mukesh Kumar Singh, Assistant General Manager, Deputy Region Chief Ranchi and Deepak Kumar Singh Branch Head were present along with staff members and respected MSMI customers. Union Bank has launched five branches in India today, which includes this branch in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. The branch is specially designed by targeting MSME customers to understand their interests, needs and facilities and to fulfill the objective of meeting their needs promptly. With the launch of this branch, efforts will be made to improve the relationship with the customers by constantly discussing mutual interests with the MSME customers.
DVC OBC Employee Welfare Association elections
A meeting of DVC OBC Employee Welfare Association was held at DVC Guesthouse, CTPS recently. A new Central Committee has been formed through General Election under healthy democratic conditions for Registration & further course of action. Members of OBC Employee Welfare Association participated enthusiastically in the elections of a new Central Committee The election was concluded at Chanderpura DVC guest house. The Central Committee was elected in the meeting, in which Rakesh Ranjan of Chandrapura was elected as the President and Bharat Kumar of Mejia Thermal Power, Prem Kumar Singh of Maithon as Vice President and K.P. Singh of Bokaro Thermal was elected as the General Secretary. Apart from these, Anil Prasad of Chanderpura was elected as the treasurer and Gopal Prasad of Konar Hydal was elected as the executive member. K P Singh of Bokaro Thermal was elected as general secretary.
Man arrested on rape charges
Police arrested an accused on charges of rape and attempt to murder of a 20-year-old tribal girl from Kurun village in Garhwa district and sent him to jail. The accused was on the run from the fear of arrest for five months. The arrested accused has been identified as Bhagyashali Singh resident of village Kurum police station Bhandaria district Garhwa. In this regard, Police Inspector cum Bhandaria station in-charge Laxmikant said that on the instructions of Superintendent of Police Anjani Kumar Jha, the accused has been arrested from his house in Kurun. On 28 April 2021, the accused of the same village thrashed a 20-year-old girl from a primitive tribe of the village to death after sexually assaulting her. The accused wanted to kill the girl so that no one would know about the act committed by him.
