Governor Mangubhai Patel has said that the universities should declare the academic calendar of the year. Patel was reviewing the Madhya Pradesh University of Medical Sciences, Jabalpur at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday. He discussed about the work being done in the interest of students and the future action plan.
Patel said that the work of filling up the vacant posts in the university should be done fast. He said that the pending exam results should be declared after fixing the time limit. The internal and external audit of the university should also be completed soon. Arrangements should be made using technology to make the mark sheets and certificates easily available to the students, so that they do not have to waste their time for it.
Patel was informed that as per the Ordinance 2014 of the University, the facility of moderation of answer sheets has been made available to the students. The results of 98 examinations have been declared by the university till the month of September this year. He was informed that 650 medical, dental, nursing, paramedical, ayurveda, homeopathic, unani and yoga colleges of the state are affiliated with the university.
Among those who took part in the meeting included Principal Secretary to Governor DP Ahuja, Vice Chancellor of the University, Commissioner Jabalpur Division B. Chandrashekhar, Registrar PK Budholia, Controller of Finance RM Dekare and Controller of Examinations Vrinda Saxena.
