A video went viral on Tuesday in social media where an Excise department personnel was seen consuming liquor in uniform by sitting on his office chair. The incident was filmed inside the district excise office during office hour. Saroj Bag working as the Excise Sub Inspector is seen consuming alcohol while other staffs were in the office.
It is purely unfortunate that excise personnel has not only disrespected the uniform but also his boozing activities inside office in office hour has come as shock and major embarrassment for other excise personnel, alleged intellectuals demanding strong action against Bag before district Collector, the Superintendent of Excise and Excise Minister.
