Dr Mayank Badola took charge as the new additional project director (APD) of Uttarakhand State AIDS Control Society (USACS) on Tuesday. He took the charge from the director National Health Mission (NHM) Dr Saroj Naithani. Dr Badola also holds the charge of the state TB control officer in the state health and family welfare department. Dr Naithani had taken the charge of USACS in October last year.
Under her leadership Uttarakhand was placed on fourth rank among 35 states in AIIDS control activities.
