Sagar district court sentenced two rape accused of life imprisonment for sexually assaulting, killing a minor girl and hiding evidences on March 14, 2019.
The accused was sentenced in the court Additional Sessions Court Umashankar Aggarwal, Banda District Sagar, punished the accused Ramprasad Ahirwar and Vanshilal Ahirwar with death penalty.
Due to heinous nature of crime Public prosecution director Vijay Yadav monitored continuously and provided necessary guidelines and guidance regarding the advocacy of the case.
The accused Ramprasad Ahirwar and Vanshilal Ahirwar were arrested for raping and beheading the 12-year-old girl whose missing complaint was lodged on March 14, 2019 with the Sagar police.
The body of minor was recovered from Berkhedi Maujahar who was strangled to death with a sharp weapon, the head of the deceased was about 45 feet from the scene of the incident.
The two took turns to rape the victim and later beheaded her. The police recovered all evidences in the investigation and were presented and verified.
Police registered a case under sections 302, 201, 363, 366, 376 and 377 of the IPC and sections 5 and 6 of the POCSO Act.
In the case, Deputy Director (Prosecution) Sagar was advocated by Anil Katare as well as senior ADPO Tahir Khan Banda was also advocate in the prosecution and presented effective final arguments which helped in sentencing of accused to life imprisonment.
