DGP reviews security for VP visit

Director General of Police Abhay on Tuesday reviewed   the security arrangements for the scheduled visit of Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu to the State on April 2 and 3.

The minute to minute programme and arrangements at the airport, Raj Bhavan, two venues, namely, Sarala Bhawan in Cuttack and Vani Vihar in Bhubaneswar as well as route-lining and other security measures were discussed.

The DGP emphasised on foolproof security measures by all concerned while complying to social distancing and all other Covid protocols.

Thirty platoons police force and 20 senior officers in various ranks are being mobilised for security arrangements for the VVIP visit.
