The Dhanbad Cricket Association ( DCA) has stepped up its activities this season after the corona period gap by deciding to hold super division, A And B division league tournaments during current season financial assistènce of promoters. DCA president Manoj Kumar said ,altogether 250 matches would be played during the season in different divisions and four promoters have joined the association for shaping the future of budding cricketers here.
The association that faced financial crunch for holding tournaments as has not taken any entry or registration fee from players and teams is meeting the tournament expenses by arranging promoters.The super division is to be promoted by Nalanda Developers and Alokik group , A division by Surya realcon and B division by Aviskar diagnostics, said Kumar .
Plans for arranging land for the cricket stadium also are on cards , said Kumar . Coal company ECL has provided its facilities at Mugma for holding aforementioned tournaments .BCCL already has provided a stadium at Jealgora ,he said.
The railways too has offered its stadium but has demanded Rs 8000 fee for one day play that the financial association is not in position to provide at present , he added.
