A Delhi Police constable sustained injuries while trying to apprehend two Nigerian nationals drug peddlers in west Delhi area. Police said one of them was arrested, however, his associate managed to escape from the spot.
The accused has been identified as Joseph, a native of Nigeria. Meanwhile, the constable, Rakesh is presently under treatment at Safdarjung Hospital.
According to a senior police official, on Saturday, police received specific inputs that one African National would come to deliver heroin at Major Deepak Tyagi Marg, Janakpuri around 3 AM to 4 AM.
