Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has expressed happiness over two young sport spersons of Madhya Pradesh winning silver medal in Asian Power Lifting Championship being held in Istanbul (Turkey). Chouhan has congratulated both the medal winners and the talented sportspersons.
Chouhan has described the achievement of Haider Shah, a resident of Ashta in Sehore district, of bagging silver medal in junior category as an achievement of the entire nation. Chouhan has also described Morena girl Isha Singh winning four silver medals in 84 kg category in senior category as a motivational and proud achievement for other sportspersons.
Chouhan said that the players of Madhya Pradesh are consistently performing well in many sports. The Chief Minister’s policy of encouraging sportspersons will continue and more and more facilities will be made available for the practice of all sports. The championship, which started on December 24 in Istanbul, concluded today.
