Amid the spread of Covid variant Omicron and ahead of New Year, the Chhattisgarh government on Thursday imposed more curbs on religious and social events, reducing the strength of gatherings from 50 percent to a third of the capacity.
A circular from the General Administration Department to all Divisional Commissioners, Inspectors General of Police, District Collectors and Superintendents of Police said that the order has to be strictly followed.
For other restrictions, the previous guidelines must be followed. They will have to follow all the other conditions imposed by the local authorities.
