Miscreants wearing PPE kit targeted a house at Data Colony and escaped with gold and silver jewellery and Rs 60,000 cash on Friday; Koh-e-Fiza police have started investigation.
Police said that the victim Mohammad Amir and his family were asleep and when they found valuables were found burgled police were informed.
A complaint was lodged by the victim with the Koh-e-Fiza police and in his complaint, he stated that he and his family were asleep in the night on Friday and when they woke up the cash and jewellery were burgled.
The victim claimed that gold and silver jewellery and Rs 60000 cash were burgled. The victim has claimed that the total loss in the burglary is around Rs 1 lakh.
Based on the complaint after the preliminary investigation the police have registered against unidentified miscreants and have started further investigation.
Police said that the CCTV footage revealed that the miscreants came wearing PPE kit and escaped with cash and jewellery. The domestic help and security guard would be quizzed in the further investigation.
The burglary was committed when the family members were asleep and they came to know about the burglary when the miscreants managed to escape.
Three persons are seen entering an under construction house in the neighbour and were wearing PPE kits which was done to hide their identity. The three are involved in the burglary and would be investigated. The victim is a businessman and lives with his family at Data Colony.
