On Tuesday, Radheshyam Vishwakarma Bhopal's 'Bundeli singing' and Parmanand Kewat Vidisha's 'Dhimriyan dance and singing' broadcasted on the department's YouTube channel.
The presentation started with Bundeli folk singing by Radheshyam Vishwakarma and group. Radhey Shyam started singing the folk song of Mother - Meri Mai Ka Bhavan from a long distance, after that Kayageet - Manas became je karni reform lo, Kajri - Kajri Van Bare Bhonra, Warning Folk song - Ek Din Ram Ghare Sab Jaano, Ramayana Sukhdai Re , Read my brother Ray, sang the rain folk song - Saawariya Tamua Tan Ho, Nadi Pai Ho Raye Kare Badarwa and Virah folk songs - Siya-Ram To Kaho Re.
He was accompanied by on Dholak by Raghuveer Singh, on Harmonium by Jitendra Sharma and on Octopad by Hirendra Nagia.
Radheshyam Vishwakarma received his initial education in music from renowned story writer and folk singer Pt. Ramesh Kumar. Vishwakarma has given his presentation on many big forums of the state. He is a B grade artist of All India Radio Doordarshan.
The second presentation was performed by Parmanand Kewat and group. They performed Dhimariai folk dance.
The Dhimariai folk dance is the male dominated traditional folk dance of the Dhimar community, it is the Varhamasi dance performed throughout the year. This dance is performed in weddings, birth celebrations and goddess festivals etc. In this, the dancers sing and dance with Sarangi wearing Ghungroo, Gamcha, Dhoti in their feet. In this, musical instruments like kingri, flute, tawa, khanjari, khartal, cymbals and dholak are used.
