SBI PROVIDES SANITISER MACHINES TO UTKAL VARSITY
Bhubaneswar: The State Bank of India, Utkal University Campus Branch has provided 40 sanitiser machines and liquid to various departments of the university. In the pandemic situation, the SBI has come forward to help the PG students for their offline classes which will commence soon. Chief General Manager of SBI, Bhubaneswar Circle Vidya Krishnan handed over the machines to university Vice-Chancellor Prof Sabita Acharya.
SEC 144 CLAMPED AT DHABALESWAR TEMPLE
Athagarh: Apprehending a larger crowd on the second Monday of the auspicious month of Kartika at the Dhabaleswar Temple near here, the local administration has enforced Section 144 of CrPC from 4 am to 10 pm. The prohibition was made to contain further spread of Covid-19. A release from the administration said that only servitors would be allowed into the shrine. The Gurudijhatia police have been asked to enforce the prohibition strictly.
CDPO POST LYING VACANT IN BHUBAN
Dhenkanal: Employees cannot get their monthly salary and suppliers cannot their payments as the CDPO post in Bhuban is lying vacant. The Integrated Child Development activity is being severally affected as the BDO functioning in charge of the CDPO has no drawing power.
NRITYOTSAV-2021 HELD IN HINJILI
Brahmapur: A cultural evening Nrityotsav-2021 was held at the Nrityam Kala Gabeshana Kendra in Hinjilicut recently coordinated by Nrityam Institute director Nilamani Pattnaik. The programme was attended by representative of CM for Hinjili constituency Sarat Chandra Mohapatra, Hinjili police station IIC Abhimanyu Dash, Hinjili NAC ex-Chairman Pabitra Mohan Panigrahy and Hinjilicut Press Club president Dwitikrushna Sabat. Nrityagurus Jayant Acharya and Sonam Sahu were felicitated on the occasion.
