Thousands of BJP cadres visited around 5,000 villages across the State to do social service as BJP celebrated the seventh anniversary of the Narendra Modi Government on Sunday. The ruling party at the Centre is championing the day as "Sewa Diwas" with BJP leaders and party cadres distributing rations, medicines, masks and sanitizers among the people.
State BJP president Deepak Prakash attending the ‘Sewa Diwas’ function at Seemliya and Hetha Basti of Ratu block under Ranchi district said that for BJP, power is the medium of service to the people. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Central Government has been engaged in the service of the village, the poor, the farmers, the downtrodden and the underprivileged over the years. Prakash, congratulating the Prime Minister on the completion of 7 years of the Central Government, said that misleading propaganda regarding vaccines is being done by anti-social and anti-national people, due to which the pace of vaccination in the rural areas of the state is slow. He said that there was a clear negligence of the state government in this regard.
BJP legislative party leader and former chief minister Babulal Marandi addressing people of his constituency Rajdhanwar through online said that there is no service bigger than service to mankind. He said, “Today, it is the need of the hour to stand with needy people in this corona crisis. The country on several occasions had fought united against all odds.” He appealed to the people to get Corona vaccine soon by distributing grains, masks, sanitizers, soaps etc. among the rural masses.
Former chief minister Raghubar Das participating at Sewa Diwas said that the need of the hour is that all sections of society stand together in this crisis. Das said that today under the leadership of Modi ji, the country is progressing even under adverse conditions, but some anti-national powers are trying to weaken the country. He said that the public is watching everyone closely. The public has no doubts on the policy and intentions of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Union tribal affairs minister Arjun Munda attending Sewa Diwas function at his constituency Khunti said that BJP is the only party whose workers reach the poor and downtrodden and connect the people through service. He said that today the world has started recognizing the strength of India. Munda appealed to the people to get the vaccine and said that the public need not get into any confusion. It is important to have the vaccine and it is completely safe as well.
Giving detailed information about the Sewa Diwas programme, BJP state general secretary, Pradeep Verma said that the program was historic. The Sewa Diwas function was held today at 5129 villages and urban settlements in the state, in which 12822 workers participated. Apart from this, a total of 456 public representatives were involved along with all the MPs of the party, MLAs and representatives of local bodies. He said that the BJP cadres donated 1334 units of blood and the programme will continue for the next three days.
