A 32-year-old married woman was captivated and sexually assaulted at Shridipuram in Kolar and Bengaluru ; Kolar police have started investigation.
According to the police the victim was sexually assaulted after she was captivated on June 6 and was held captive at a hotel in Bengaluru.
The victim was threatened of killing her daughters by the accused and later held her captive where she was sexually assaulted.
In her complaint, the victim stated that she became acquainted with the accused over facebook with the accused Atul Mishra and gradually developed friendship with the accused which soon turned into relationship and the accused lured her and accompanied her to his house.
The victim managed to escape and reached her house and reported the incident to her husband.
Victim told police that when she tried to escape accused assaulted her and held her captive. The details of the accused would be searched as the victim was not able to provide the details which could help in nabbing the accused.
The accused sexually assaulted the victim and threatened her of life and killing her daughters which was reported by the victim to the police. After the victim lodged a complaint accused went absconding and is still at large. The police have registered a case of sexual assault and kidnap and have started further investigation.
