A 25-feet map of Odisha was installed at the Engineering School Junction here on Monday. The map is prepared by students and teachers of the Berhampur ITI.The map made out of scraps has a height of 25 feet, a width of 30 feet and weighs 40 tonne.
It took 40 days to complete the job. Students from various trades like fitter; wielder and painter were involved in making the map.
After a similar-size map had been installed in the ITI campus, the Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC) authorities had planned to install such a map as this work of art would attract the people entering the city from NH-16 through Ambapua.
