Two children drowned in a nullah at Chudapuruga village under the Charmal police station in Redhakhol sub division on Tuesday.
One Sunita Kharia of the village had gone with her two sons Amit (6) and Ajit (4) to take bath in the small water stream. Locals fished out the two deceased children from a particular deep place in the water body.
The boys’ father Dukhabandhu Kharia (40) works in Bangalore. The Kharia couple has no other child.
