17-yr-old girl captivated, raped at Raisen

A 17-year-old girl was captivated and sexually assaulted by Raisen based youth at shanties at Manua Bhan ki tekri and Raisen for the past three months; a case was registered on Saturday after victim escaped and lodged complaint with the Bairagarh police.

According to the police the victim was sexually assaulted by accused after she was captivated in March this year 9, 2016 and was held captive at Raisen, nearby village and shanty at Manua Bhan ki tekri.

The victim was lured by accused identified as Abhisek Lodhi and took her to Raisen later held her captive in Raisen and nearby village where she was sexually assaulted. Later he brought her back to Bhopal where she managed to escape.

In her complaint the victim stated that she was acquainted with the accused as he used to follow her for the past two years whenever she would go to school. She became friends with the accused and on March 29 she was accompanied by the accused to Raisen where he forcefully married her and took her to a village, sexually assaulted her. After few days he brought her to a shanty at Manua Bhan ki tekri where she held captive and was beaten brutally when she tried to escape.

The victim managed to escape reached her house and reported the incident to her family.

The accused sexually assaulted the victim and threatened her of life which was reported by the victim to the police. After the victim lodged a complaint accused was nabbed and a case of sexual assault, kidnap and POCSO was registered.
