‘Peer Parayi Jaane Na Re’ held to mark Lokrang conclusion

Remembering Mahatma Gandhi, a cultural event “Peer Parayi Jaane Na Re” was held to mark the conclusion of Lokrang every year. Under the event, Roohani Sisters performed Sufi sangeet before the Bhopalites on Saturday.

Roohani Sisters have created a niche among all Sufi singers, with their unusual ability to present this genre of music in its truest form. Thier voice and style of singing is indeed suited to Sufi renditions.

They performed thier various compositions to mark a tuneful conclusion. The art and music lovers of the city listened to the performance with rapt attention and enjoyed to the fullest. As Roohani Sisters was giving a mesmerizing performance, the adherent shopaholics of the city enjoyed shopping along with the melodious sufi songs.

Sisters is most versatile in his singing and this has been time and again proven by thier various singing styles. However, due to thier immense love for Sufism, he has dedicated thier life to Sufism and to let it grow and live in the hearts of people forever.

The five-day event was observed with a lot of fervour by the citizens and artists from various countries were invited to showcase their art and culture on the platform where art appreciators enjoyed their performances enthusiastically.
