‘Centre’s impetus will boost economy’

Finance Minister Jagdish Devda has said that the economy of Covid-19 affected India will take a new turn due to the incentive package of Rs 6.29 lakh crores granted by the Central government to give impetus to the economy.

Expressing his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for this initiative, he said that under his leadership, the economic package announced by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Minister of State for Finance, Anurag Thakur will prove to be life-saving for the economy and work as a booster dose.

Expressing his gratitude to the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for reviving the economy of Madhya Pradesh, Deora said that Madhya Pradesh will benefit immensely from the new Central government package.

Minister Devda said that this relief package is like a lifeline for various sectors including health, MSME, tourism, export and Aatma-Nirbhar Bharat Rozgar Yojana. These areas will get back to life. He said that this incentive package is the need of the hour.

Welcoming the decision of granting Rs 1.1 lakh crore economic package to Corona affected entrepreneurs at a low interest rate, he said that it will help the affected areas to overcome the economic crisis resulting due to Corona pandemic.

Devda said that these measures taken by the central government will help in private investment, export, increase in agricultural productivity and also strengthen health infrastructure in small towns. The revival of the economy will gain momentum and there will be an increase in economic activities also. This relief package will prove to be a life saving for the economy. These measures will not only increase production but will also generate employment opportunities. It will also boost small entrepreneurs, businessmen and tourism. Due to increased investment, the medical sector will be strengthened.

With the provisions made in health facilities, better health facilities will be made available in backward areas also.

Devda said that the central government, which has taken the revolutionary step of providing free vaccine to every citizen above 18 in the country, has now provided the necessary vaccine to the financial sector through these economic measures. He said that citizens have got the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana. Now extending this scheme till November will benefit the poor people.
