Chhattisgarh Health Minister TS Singh Deo left for the national Capital on Monday, again bringing to the fore an intensified power struggle within the ruling Congress party.
Singh Deo has been demanding that the post of Chief Minister should be handed over to him after two-and-a-half years.
His trip to Delhi comes ahead of a two-day tour of Chhattisgarh by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
Although Singh Deo said his visit to Delhi was of a personal nature, some sources said he had been called by the party High Command.
After his earlier visit to Delhi, Singh Deo hinted he got a positive signal from the High Command. “Only one thing is permanent in this world, and that is change,” he said.
