A 27-year-old married women who was coming back to her house at Jhirki village after toilet on May 27 evening was raped allegedly by co-villager identified as Jamrudin Ansari son of Munna Wahid, who was waiting for her there.
The incident happened in Jhirki village under Gomia police station. According to police, the victim was coming on May 27 evening from nearby village after toilet.
An FIR has been lodged here on Saturday and a hunt is on to search the man.
Gomia police station-in Charge Binay Kumar said, “The accused has been identified as Jamrudin Ansari, a resident of same village. We are conducting raids to nab him as he is still at large.”
Following the complaint filed by victim, an FIR was lodged under the IPC section 376 against the Jamrudin Ansari. “We will send the woman to Bokaro Sadar hospital, for medical examination,’’ he said.
As soon as the information was received, the local villagers reached the spot at around 7 o'clock at night on May 27 and dropped her house.
