The World Human Rights Protection Organisation (WHRPO) on Wednesday issued a memorandum of understanding to the Governor of Reserve Bank of India Shashikant Das, through the Chief Branch Manager of Bhubaneswar.
Banks and other financial institutions are in a state of turmoil instead of EMI waivers. And middle-class families are suffering the most despite the Government's announcement of a rebate and the Reserve Bank's directives, banks and financial institutions have not complied.
In this regard, the organisation filed a demand letter to the Reserve Bank, the Prime Minister and the Finance Minister against such anti-people policies of banks and all financial institutions.
