Weather normalises in State, Bhopal records lowest temp at 7 degrees, highest at 32

The weather condition which turned cold due to winds have normalised and moderate temperatures are prevailing in the State; lowest night temperature was recorded at 7.8 degree Celsius in Mandla.

Day temperatures in few areas have been recorded close to 32 degree Celsius making day little discomforting. The eastern parts of state have recorded day temperatures below 30 degree Celsius and it is likely to dip further in the second week of the coming month.

State capital recorded day temperature at 30.1 degree Celsius while night temperature at 12.4 degree Celsius and on Monday night temperature would be recorded with slight increase while day temperature would be recorded with little dip.

The Met department told that presently there is an active low pressure area in the south-eastern Bay of Bengal, which is likely to hit Tamil Nadu coast around 2 December. On the other hand, the Western Disturbance and also, cyclonic circulation is active along the Haryana-Western Uttar Pradesh region and near the Maharashtra coast and due to these nothing significant would be witnessed in the weather condition of the state and is likely to remain dry and no change in temperature in the next 5-6 days. The night temperatures in western part of the state are recorded lower than eastern parts.

Apart from the lowest night temperature of the state at 7.8 degree Celsius, some of the other regions which recorded temperatures at lower levels were Gwalior at 8.9 degree Celsius, Datia, Umaria, Khajuraho and Raisen at 9 degree Celsius and Ratlam and Shajapur at 10.6 degree Celsius.
