Following the discovery of a corona virus infection in Taranagar of Chas Municipal Corporation area, the entire area has been converted into a quarantine zone under the direction of SDO Chas Shashi Prakash Singh. Today SDO visited the areas of Taranagar and in view of the social distancing, the whole area was sealed and the work of the barricade was ensured. Also SDO took stock of all the facilities keeping in mind the needs of common people in this area so that people can be able to provide the things they need in their homes by following social distancing. He appealed to the people of the area to stay in their homes to prevent the infection spread.

Singh said that if any woman has any problem related to delivery, she can immediately reach us through the control room of the district administration so that they can be given the instant right treatment by the team of Health Department, He told the common people that after the Quarantine Zone has been declared, a person will be provided facilities through district control room for health related problems under Taranagar area. Continuous work will be done to provide dry ration and other types of assistance to the needy and poor under the area by the district administration and the municipal corporation. Also on the direction of Additional Municipal Commissioner Shashi Prakash Jha, the entire area is being constantly sanitized.

Singh said that many vegetable vendors are selling vegetables on the roadside unnecessarily in Chas Corporation area, due to which the compliance of social distancing is under threat. For the people of Chas Nigam area, while repairing the vegetable market made by the Municipal Corporation with the Market Committee, an order has been given to the Municipal Corporation to make necessary arrangement to install vegetable market.
