Amid, COVID-19 outbreak and nationwide lockdown, the School Education Department of Madhya Pradesh has extended the dates of fees submission.
The dates that were till March 30, have now been extended till April 30.The school authorities, government or private of all the boards including Madhya Pradesh School Board of Education (MPSBE), Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and ICSE are instructed to extend the dates of fee submission till April 30. The official notice was issued on Sunday.
According to the notice, no late fee will be imposed by the schools and parents can pay the fees till the allotted dates. Besides, the notice also states that the examinations for classes X and XII will be held after the dismissal of the lockdown. The MPSBE will announce the revised dates of the board exams soon after the lockdown.Notably, with the severe outbreak of the COVID-19, the examinations will immediately postponed till March 31, but were extended.
Moreover, looking at the critical situation, the Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education has decided to promote students of all standards except for Classes 10 and 12 without annual exams. The students through Classes 1 to 9 and Class 11 of the state-run schools will be promoted to higher as the Board is unable to conduct the annual exams amidst the lockdown.
The MP Board Class 10 and 12 exams 2020, are however, being postponed and will be conducted once the lockdown period is over.
