In a series to reach out people during Coronavirus, the startup "Car Repair" operated by Rabindranath Tagore University's 'AIC RNTU' startup group is helping people in this difficult time.
Under this, 24-hour emergency roadside assistance is being provided free of cost to frontline workers such as doctors, police, municipal employees by "car repair". These services include puncture repair, jump start service when battery is discharged, car towing service, breakdown repair services.
Ganesh Gaikwad, founder of the car repair initiative explains that during the lockdown, we had a lot of calls for roadside assistance, most of which were from frontline workers, so in this difficult time, we realized our social responsibility to provide road side assistance services for these warriors.
Besides, this service for police and ambulance is for free. This startup is run by four members including Bhuvanesh Sahu, Ankit and Ashish. "All four of our friends have been together since college and started a startup when there was no job after college.
After this we got a place in AIC RNTU and the startup is getting mentorship to go to the next level," he added.
Speaking on the occasion, AIC-RNTU Foundation CEO Ronald Fernandes said that the main objective of AIC-RNTU is to create a startup ecosystem in Central India and guide the youth to make them aware of the nuances of the business and provide the necessary resources to help the startup can be converted into enterprise.
AIC-RNTU currently employs 30 startups to support working space, mentorship, network support, training, workshops, legal and accounting support, investor contacts, intellectual property rights support.
