The Delhi Police has received 6,088 calls on their 24x7 helpline number, 011-23469526, to resolve issues related to lockdown. Police received 1,187 calls have been received from Saunday 2 pm to Monday 2 pm.
According to police, out of 1,187, police recieved 278 calls were related to outside Delhi, which have been referred to respective State helpline numbers. Total 76 calls were received related to no food/no money, which have been forwarded to NGO for direct relief at their addresses.
Meanwhile 18 calls were received regarding medical issues and have been resolved through proper guidance to proceed in case of such emergencies, police said.
While 592 calls were related to movement passes and were advised to approach respective jurisdictional Additional DCP-I office.
The food delivery network established in all 15 districts with involvement of nearly 400 NGOs/RWAs/Good Smartians facilitated by Delhi Police has led to provision of meals and food packets at more than 250 locations which enabled feeding of nearly 1,45,000 persons and dry ration to 1385 persons.
