Govindpura police have booked an unidentified miscreant for sexually assaulting a 20-year-old girl who committed suicide on September 28 and in post mortem report revealed sexual assault with the victim.
After around two months in the investigation case of suicide Govindpura police have booked an unidentified miscreant for sexually assaulting girl who committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at her house.The family members were not aware of the reason but in the investigation post mortem report revealed that deceased was sexually assaulted which changed the course of action. Police have registered a case under section 376 of the IPC and started further investigation into the matter.
The family members would be questioned again as the investigation would be conducted to narrow down on the accused involved in sexually assaulting her.The deceased after completing class 12 was pursuing ITI and police suspects that her classmates and friends could provide vital clue to the crime. The call record details of deceased and her social media accounts would also be investigated.
Police have claimed that possible reason of suicide by the deceased is facing sexual assault and she failed to reveal the atrocity and dejected from the incident she took extreme step and along with this she failed to reveal the accused as no suicide note was found from her.
