Ayodhya Nagar police have nabbed two vehicle-lifters from Minal residency gate no 3 area and recovered five two-wheelers worth Rs 2 lakh from their possession on Sunday.
According to the police, during vehicle checking acting two youths having bike registration number MP 13 DT 1277 were detained and when they were asked details regarding the vehicle they failed to provide documents and confessed that the two-wheeler was stolen one.
The police checked the details of the vehicle at Vehicle Detection Portal and found that the vehicle was stolen and owner was Shehzad Khan.
The nabbed accused were identified as Rohit Lodhi (20) and Anoop Singh(23).
The vehicle which was recovered was stolen from Ujjain railway station. The two confessed stealing of four other two wheelers. In which the Pulsar bike bearing registration number was MP04MG7776 was stolen from Gandhi Market Piplani, Maestro Scooter bearing registration number MP04SZ4528 was stolen from Hanuman Mandir in front of Bhopal Railway Station while Pulsar bike without registration number was stolen from Peoples Mall.
In the initial investigation police have recovered four other vehicles from Anoop Singh's house at Kakda Cresher which were stolen from different areas.
Anoop hails from Dindori and stays at kakda cresher shanties. Rohit hails from Raisen and stays at Chhola Mandir area.
Police said that the stolen vehicles were kept at Anoop's house and which were to be sold later. During the investigation police have not found any criminal record of the miscreant and told that search for the crime record would be done in the further investigation.
