Kotwali police have booked a man for molesting a 22-year-old girl while girl was booked for scuffling with man’s wife on Saturday; police have started investigation into the matter.
Police said that the girl and man identified as Vicky alias Nimit was booked for molesting the victim who lives in the same premises and have common door for their house.
On Saturday Vicky and girl had a verbal spate and which was joined by his wife. The heated exchange turned violent after girl hit Vicky’s wife. Later the girl lodged complaint of molestation against Vicky while his wife lodged complaint of scuffling and assault by the girl.
Based on the complaint of girl police have registered case under section 294, 354 and 323 of the IPC and started further investigation.Meanwhile, Sukhi Sewania police arrested man for pressurising his wife to convert to other religion has been released on bail; police have started further investigation.
