School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Wednesday said the remaining papers of the annual Plus Two Examinations would be held after the lockdown.
Clarifying on the doubts of parents and examinees, Dash said the Plus II Examination 2020 for Arts, Science and Commerce streams conducted by the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) would be held after the lockdown period gets over.
A notification for conducting postponed examinations would be issued after necessary directions received from the Government. The students will be informed about new schedule a week before commencement of examination, he added.
However, there is no chance of cancellations of the examinations. The department is prepared to conduct the examination after lockdown, Dash said.
The CHSE had postponed the Plus Two examinations of all the streams with effect from March 23 till further order due to the outbreak of coronavirus.
