P’khemuni paupers’ newborn helped

Monday, 30 November 2020 | PNS | PARALAKHEMUNDI

NGO Joy of Giving (JOG) in Paralakhemundi came to the rescue of a new born girl which was born to a hapless pauper couple who were homeless and begged to survive.

The JOG after coming across the baby girl provided mosquito net, dress, towel and daily use kits for the baby. As the parents were drug addicts, there was a question over the survival of the new born.

Nihar Panda of JOG appealed to the Childline and the DCPO, Gajapati to ensure safety and care for the newborn. Panda also urged the administration to keep the baby and her parents in a rehab home.
