Three-day online workshop from July 27 to 29 on “Digital Evidence, Voice Sampling, Voice Identification, Electronic Data Backup and Adjectives Regarding Investigation, Challenges and Use of Electronic Evidence” concluded at Police Training School, Bhouri, on Wednesday.
Organised by state police headquarters, over 100 investigation officers participated in the training which was based on the evidences which are digital in nature and play important role in collecting, analysing evidences and establishing culprit guilty.
The main speakers at the workshop were ASP Narcotics Dilip Soni and Inspector Lokayukta Organization Mukesh Tiwari who shared their experiences with the participants and answered questioned raised by the participants regarding the subject.
On the basis of their extensive experience serving and investigation cases they shared that digital evidence is very important in the changing environment and the in police investigation they pose challenge and simplicity in the work.
In the seminar, both the speakers answered the questions of the difficulties faced by the investigating officers during investigation. During the investigation, the accused takes advantage of the lapse while collecting digital evidence. Therefore, investigating officer should be alert and cautious while collecting digital evidence.
At the end of the seminar, SP Coordinator of Workshop SP PTS Bhouri Neeraj Pandey concluded the seminar.
