The Potterheads of the city learned making Hogwarts Witchcraft University in watercolour. A daylong watercolour online workshop 'A Hogwarts Night' was held on Thursday.
The workshop was organised by Studio Ikigai, Mumbai online. The birthday of Harry Potter is near, and the workshop was organised to celebrate the event. It is to be noted that Harry Potter is one of the celebrated fictional character created by author JK Rowling.
During the workshop, the participants learned about the basics of painting and then they were taught about the water colour technique over canvas. Here on Thursday, the participants learned about the basic strokes. The workshop was conducted by ezpert of Studio Ikagai.
To begin the workshop, the expert told the participants about subject selection. He said that for a creative art piece, it is important to choose the subject wisely. The subject with sharp features adds life to the painting. Later, in the next session, they were told about the colour making and shading.
The participants were also told about the light and shadow, proper colour mixing and how bring out the best fo the emotions over canvas. He also gave a short demonstration of his paintings to the participants.
