All departments of the State Government and subordinate offices in the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack shall function with 75% strength of employees (all staffs including Group-A officers) during the month of January, 2021, an order of the General Administration & Public Grievance Department said on Wednesday. All State Government offices would continue to remain closed on Saturdays, the order said.
The Departments/Heads of Offices in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack may decide the manner of selection of the employees who would attend offices. However, the essential offices/services such as SRC and OSDMA offices, police, Fire Services, health services and municipal services shall function in full strengths. In case of detection of any Covid-19 case among the office employees, the concerned office would follow the protocols issued by the Government. The officers/staffs, who have been provided with VPN, shall work from home when not assigned roster duty. They must be available to attend to any office work of urgent nature at short notice and be available on telephone at all times. Administrative departments would decide about the scales of operations in subordinate and field offices, the order added.
