MECON Management today held the 2nd session of “Prabandhan Sang Prabhodhan” on "MECON fights against COVID 19", through video conference, with MECON employees across the country and emphasized upon the necessity to continue to adhere safety practices, along with pursuing the company goals.
CMD MECON Atul Bhatt, Director (Projects) Salil Kumar, Director (Finance) RH Juneja, Director (Commercial) SK Verma and Director (Technical) AK Agrawal interacted with employees and urged all to ensure physical and mental wellbeing during these challenging times.
Encouraging the employees, Bhatt said that in the light of cases increasing in various states throughout the country, cases may occur in near vicinity, but this was not the time to feel exasperated or lose heart, but to remain vigilant. "We cannot allow that our lives to be confined only around corona. We need to wear masks, follow physical distancing and other norms, yet continue to pursue our goals,” he added.
Director (Projects) Salil Kumar, stressed upon the need to be innovative in these challenging times. “We have to come out with innovative ideas to complete our assignments. We have to continue to work, following all safety measures and ensure targets are fulfilled,” he summarized.
Director (Finance) RH Juneja,, talked about the financial consequences of the pandemic and said that COVID 19 has affected the finances all over the world, but with the unified efforts of all, company's performance could be improved.
As the steel market is on the revival track, Director (Commercial) SK Verma, assured that MECON's fortune will also shine and appealed to employees to follow all safety guidelines and government directives.
Director (Technical) AK Agrawal, motivated the employees and in these challenging times, requested all to stay calm and follow precautionary guidelines, while working with same commitment and dedication.
The Management further assured all that the Organization is well prepared to handle this pandemic situation.
