Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati on Sunday gave her party’s full support to the Centre’s fresh guidelines on Unlock 4.0.
In a tweet on Sunday, Mayawati said the government had done what the BSP had been demanding since long.
“Making a common policy for the entire country on unlock and lockdown is a welcome decision of the Centre, which has been demanded by the BSP since long. This will end the politics being done on the backdrop of coronavirus while the people will be benefited with it by getting more relaxation and facilities,” she said in the tweet in Hindi.
In the fresh guidelines issued by the Union Home Ministry, it has clearly said that the state cannot announce lockdown in their state arbitrarily and for it they would have to consult the Centre and take its permission. The new guidelines also allow religious, political and social gathering of maximum 100 people after September 21 while there will be total relaxation on inter-state and intra-state movement of vehicles and people.
