Delhi police here have arrested a 26-year- old man, resident of Pathaldiha under Koderma Police Station area for allegedly abducting and murdering a taxi driver on Saturday.
A Delhi police team headed by Sub-inspector Devendra Singh with Koderma police arrested the accused Sunil Kumar Yadav from his residence at Pathaldiha on Saturday.
The accused had hired the Swift Dzire car from Delhi's Govindpuri PS area on March 19. An FIR was lodged with Govindpuri PS area on March 22 on the complaint of Satyabhan, brother of the car driver.
In a complaint, Satyabhan said that he last talked to his brother "Surendra" on March 19 at around 10 pm over mobile and then his mobile went switched off.
The police have recovered the car and the mobile phone of deceased car driver from the possession of Surendra Yadav. Police are yet to recover the body of the deceased driver. The police have taken the accused to Delhi after procuring transit remand from the court.
