A gang involved in human trafficking which sold a one-year old girl child for Rs 2 lakh to the couple residing in Delhi and also involved in murder of the mother of the girl child as she was opposing her husband’s decision to sell her daughter was arrested by Pithampur police.
According to the police, a five-day old decomposed dead body of woman was found at Manmani colony sector 1 tehsil Pithampur industrial area district Dhar. On 25 august the landlord of the house Ikrar son of Abdul Sattar resident of Mhow reported the matter to the police.
SP Dhar Aditya Pratap Singh formed a team under ASP Dhar Devendra Patidar comprising of the CSP Pithampur Tarunendra Singh Baghel and T I Pithampur Chandra Bhaan Singh Chadar to track this blind murder.
The police received an Aadhar card from the landlord which was given by the accused to the landlord which was found fake later the landlord also provided the mobile number of the same person.
Police tracked the mobile number and arrested Chotu son of Sukhman Choudhary resident of village Mankora p.s Rera district Panna M P. Accused Chotu told the police that he eloped with the victim Indra alias Ruby who was from same district Panna and conducted love marriage. He was living with his wife and a one-year old daughter Pari in other house and few days back they came to live in this new rented room.
I killed my wife with the help of my elder brother Prasandi alias Shivam son of Sukhman Choudhary and his wife Deepika as she was opposing me to sell the daughter Pari.
Police arrested accused Chotu his brother and his brother’s wife for selling the girl child and murder, other 5 accused who were involved in selling the girl child radha bai, sagar bai, meena bai, maankuwar bai all resident of Indore district and mithun resident of sadar.
Police also arrested Sikkandar son of Gaurilal Poddar age 40 and Poonam age 38 wife of Sikkander both resident of Kakrola, 38 sector 16 Dwarkapuri J J colony Delhi.
Dhar S P Aditya Pratap Singh told The Pioneer that the couple who were purchasing the girl child had no children and they have already applied in the orphanage for adopting the child since 4 years which they were not getting as the father of the accused Sikkander has some contacts in Dewas district from there they got a message that a girl child is available at the laborer’s house in Pithampur industrial area. All the 10 accused involved in the murder of woman sell and purchase of girl child have been arrested by Pithampur police.
The couple had payed rs 1 lakh 80 thousand to the accused in which rs 1 lakh was kept by the sellers and rs 80 thousand was distributed among 5 middlemen.
Police registered the case against all the 10 accused under IPC section 302,370 467,468,470,478,201,120 b 34.
SP Dhar Aditya Pratap Singh announced an award to the police team comprising of CSP Pithampur Tarunendra Singh Baghel, T I Pithampur Sector 1 Chandra Bhaan Singh Chadar, S I Heena Joshi and ASI Balkrishana Mishra.
