Somen Da's demise personal loss: Sahay
Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader Subodh Kant Sahay has deeply mourned the demise of Somendra Nath Mitra , former MP and President of West Bengal Pradesh Congress Committee. He said that the departure of a fighter committed to ideal and principled politics, leaves a big vacumn in the politics of West Bengal. In his tribute message, Sahay said that it is my good fortune to know Somen Da, who was a fighter who fought till his last breath. He expressed his condolences to the family of Somen Mitra.
Covid care Vending Machine at Ranchi Station
Covid Care Vending Machine was installed on platform number one of Ranchi railway station. Through this machine, passengers can get masks, sanitizers and gloves by paying a fee. The minimum charge for two masks with three layers is Rs 10, 100 ml sanitizer charges Rs 50 and hand gloves charges is Rs 20. This machine installed at Ranchi railway station is very useful for passengers in this transition period of coronavirus, when masking and using sanitizer is very important.
Hindalco's unique initiative
Hindalco Industries Limited has installed Automatic Ticket Checking and Managing Access Machine at Ranchi Railway Station, ensuring its participation in the ongoing war against Corona. Through this machine, it will now be possible to check the ticket of passengers without touching anyone. The body temperature of the passenger can also be scanned by this machine. On Thursday, the machine was duly commissioned under the CSR work of Hindalco on platform number one of Ranchi railway station. With this machine, complete thermal scanning of the passenger can be done without touching any surface. The machine will have a data base available which will store the passengers' body temperature and complete ticket details. In this period of corona infection, checking the ticket of unattended passengers and their thermal scanning without contact will go a long way in preventing the infection of corona. Ranchi Railway station manager Dhruv Kumar, Chief Commercial Inspector Dinesh Kumar, Commercial Inspector Neeraj Kumar, Chief Ticket Inspector PN Kachhap, Ticket Inspector Birendra Kumar, Hindalco's CSR Head Neeraj Kumar, Sanjay Srivastava and Abhishek Kumar were present at the inauguration of this machine.
SBPS Shines in CBSE Quiz Competition

Road repairs and maintenance of houses are being done on a war footing by the city civil maintenance of Bokaro Steel Plant. Along with filling pot holes in the city center, the road repairing work is going on inside the city center. Currently, this work is being done in a major part of the main city center, which is planned to be done in some other identified parts of the city center. Apart from this, the Public Health Department of BSL has issued a toll free number 1800121247799 for door-to-door waste pickup or cleaning of the sector area for the residents of the township in which contact can be made.
