In a broad daylight heist, bike-borne miscreants looted Rs 1 lakh from an employee of a finance company in the Sector-9 area here on Monday.
The victim Abdesh Singh, an employee of Bharat Financial Inclusion located at Chhend Colony was returning after collecting loan instalments money at around 11 am. Near the Sector-9 Steel Club, three miscreants came by a motorcycle, intercepted Singh and attacked him. Later, the trio snatched the bag containing the cash from him and fled from the spot.
Singh lodged a complaint at the Sector-7 police station, following which cops launched a manhunt to nab the criminals.
