Maharashtra former chief minister and Bihar BJP Assembly election in-charge, Davendra Fadnavis on Tuesday made a surprise visit to Rajrappa and prayed at Maa Chhinnamastika temple.
Maa Chhinnamastika temple in Rajrappa - 45 km north of Ranchi is a Hindu pilgrimage centre. The temple main attraction of Chhinnamastika temple is the headless deity of Goddess Chhinnamastika, which stands on the body of a copulating couple.
As the news of Fadnavis’s surprise visit to Rajrappa spread, media persons drove to the pilgrimage town. The media persons tried to talk to Fadnavis seeking his reaction on Farm bills and Maharashtra politics.
However, the Maharashtra chief minister avoided media queries on farm bills and his recent meeting with Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut.
The Bihar BJP in-charge after praying at Maa Chhinnamastika temple also visited Boria Ashram in the town and met Boria Baba or Hariram Acharya. Sources said that Fadnavis performed a secret puja at Boria Ashram. It is speculated that he prayed for the success of BJP-JDU combine in Bihar Assembly election. The visit of Fadnavis to Ramgarh was kept secret. Even State BJP leaders were not informed about the visit.
Meanwhile, in another development two senior state BJP leaders Samir Oraon BJP Rajya Sabha member and Annapurna Devi Koderma MP who found place in JP Nadda new committee reached State Capital. The two leaders were given a rousing welcome on their visit to Ranchi. Koderma MP Annapurna Devi along with former chief minister Raghubar Das has been made as BJP national vice president, while Oraon who comes from Gumla district has been made as ST morcha national president.
State BJP president Deepak Prakash welcomed the two leaders at party office thanks central leadership for giving more representation to state leaders in national committee.
Prakash said, “This is for the first time three senior leaders from the state have found a place in the national committee. These leaders will strengthen the party at grassroot level.”
Annapurna Devi speaking on the occasion said that she will sincerely discharge her duties, which the party has given her.
BJP national president of ST morcha, Samir Oraon said that he will work in strengthening the party among the tribal community.
Meanwhile, State BJP spokesperson Pradeep Sinha has demanded a CBI probe over alleged dubious properties documents received from business man Amit Agarwal. Sinha said that BJP is always against black money, the country wants to know the source of these properties documents received from Agarwal’ house.
