Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur on Thursday called on the Union Communications, Law and Justice Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad at New Delhi and urged him to provide better communication facilities in far flung areas of the State.
The Chief Minister urged the Union Minister to help the State in attracting investments in Information Technology sector as about 300 bighas land was available at Waknaghat in Solan district.
Thakur also urged the Union Minister to use his good office to attract investments in areas of Centre of Excellence in Information Technology and Artificial Intelligence in the State.
