The ICAR-Central Institute of Freshwater Aquaculture, Bhubaneswar, observed the Constitution Day here on November 26.
The purpose was to create awareness among the staff members of the institute on the Indian Constitution and citizen duties. The celebration was organised on virtual mode.
At the beginning, senior administrative officer I B Kumar welcomed the guests and all the participants. He also briefed about the Indian Constitution.
Director Dr Saroj Kumar Swain read out the Preamble of the Indian Constitution followed by the staff members of the ICAR-CIFA.
Senior lawyer Pitambar Acharya delivered a speech on Indian Constitution. He threw light on various dimensions of the Indian Constitution and efforts made by the various committees in the Constituent Assembly for framing and adopting it. Especially he highlighted the contribution of Dr BR Ambedkar.
