Brutally murdered two-day-old baby girl was found at the premises of Shiv Mandir in the early morning hours; body was 15-20 injury marks revealed in post mortem report.
Sensation prevailed in the area after body of baby was spotted at around 6 am and later it was found that the baby was murdered violently.
Over the body, more than 15 marks over of stabbing were found which suggests that the baby was attacked with the aim to kill and it was not incidental. After the short post mortem report was received it was revealed that the baby was two days old.
The detail of the time of murder would be revealed in the further investigation. The assailants stabbed in the left side of chest and multiple time stabbing suggests that it was done to kill and to not take any chance of survival of the baby.
The body was sent for the post mortem after preliminary investigation and a case under section 302 of the IPC was registered. The CCTV cameras installed in the area and nearby areas would be checked in the investigation to establish the identity of the accused.
Police have been searching for details of any tag of hospital over the body and pregnant woman in the area which could help in establishing the identity of the baby and could lead to the killer. Till the filing of the report nothing concrete was found by the police in the investigation.
