The ICU of the Bhima Bhoi Medical College Hospital here has been sealed for seven days after Covid-19 cases were detected in the ward, informed a hospital official on Thursday.
Source said three patients admitted to the ICU ward have tested positive for Covid-19, following which the hospital authorities decided to seal the ward for a week to prevent further spread of infection.
Notably, six more Covid-19 cases have been reported from Balangir in the last 24 hours, taking the total count to 406 in the district. Of the total cases, 120 are active and 286 patients have recovered so far.
