Baghsewania police have booked a male nurse posted at AIIMS Bhopal for sexually assaulting a woman on pretext of marriage. 23-year-old victim lodged complaint on Monday with the police.
According to the police, the victim was sexually assaulted by the accused Rajesh Sharma on June 20 at his house in Amarai and continued to sexually exploit her for the past few months.
Based on the complaint police have registered case of sexual assault against the accused who is yet to be arrested.
The victim came into contact with the accused when she visited AIIMS for treatment and met the accused who took her contact number and later developed friendship with her. Soon the two developed relationship and on June 20 the accused took her to his room and raped her and when the victim told that she would report the incident accused lured her of marriage.
Unaware of the ill intentions victim agreed and was sexually exploited and later when she asked for marriage accused refused to marry her and she lodged complaint with the police. The victim works with a fitness club and lives in rented house in Arera Colony.
Meanwhile, Koh-e-Fiza police has booked a youth for molesting, assaulting and threatening a 16-year-old girl near Jain Nagar in the evening on Monday.
Police said that the accused Yuvraj Baghel molested victim and assaulted her and before leaving threatened her of life when the victim had gone for some work in the evening. In her complaint, the victim stated that accused used to tease her in the area and would molest her.
Based on the complaint, the police registered a case under sections 323, 506 and 354 of the IPC and sections of POCSO Act were also imposed and started search for the accused who went absconding after the complaint was lodged.
